At myRez on Lester we offer the best in accommodations and technology in an environment conducive to comfort and academic achievement. We make the student’s transition from home to campus to apartment life simple.

We like to think of everything, that is why our accommodations have been designed with the student in mind. We created a modern facility that is secure, private and equipped with all the tools the student needs and demands for his/her success. We aim to maximize time and comfort and at the same time provide the foundation for a student’s academic success, personal growth and the establishment of lasting friendships.

We aim to take our accommodations at myRez on Lester to a higher level.

Location! Location! Location!

The saying applies to real estate and it applies just the same to myRez on Lester as we are located within walking distance to both Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Waterloo.

Maintenance & Staff

Our building and office is staffed 24/7 with professional and skilled staff ready to address any maintenance issue or special request. We have a comprehensive maintenance program to help maintain our building and can look after any need the student may require. Through an easy to operate automated work order system we can process any maintenance request within 24 hours to insure the comfort and safety of each student.

Leases and Rent

All our leases are individual leases. You will only be responsible for your lease and not anyone else’s. Leases are signed by the student and at least one of their parents as a guarantor.

"Utility Package"

One of the unique things of myRez on Lester is that we really do want the student to just move-in hassle free. For this reason we have introduced the “Utility Package” where the laundry use is included and all utility hookups (water, hydro and gas), cable and Internet connections are already done for you. The “Utility Package” is charged as a flat fee every month and is added to the rent. It does not include telephone landlines. The student will never have to look at any utility bills… just be “energy conscious”.


Every parent is concerned with the safety of their love ones and for this reason myRez on Lester has been installed with security cameras at all floor levels, parking areas, entrances and elevators; as well as card control access to the building, each suite and key code lockset in all private bedrooms. The building also has a 24/7 staff presence ready to address any potential issues.


myRez on Lester is wired to suit whatever technological tools are used by the student to help them stay connected with their academic course, friends and you. All our common areas are a Wi-Fi spot.

Floor Plans

Well thought out and spacious layouts, some rooms with their own ensuite bathrooms, all suites have their own laundry facilities (no more communal laundry facilities) and with all the modern conveniences demanded by students today. All of this is a unique feature of myRez on Lester.

Fully Furnished Units

We aim to make the student’s move into our building an enjoyable experience and for that we provide completely furnished units, name-brand appliances as well as make available an essential move-in starter kit that you can order directly from us.


myRez on Lester has an entire private 18th floor penthouse area dedicated to student amenities where students can study, socialize, relax, play games, watch TV or simply admire the beautiful view of the entire City of Waterloo in an open concept environment.

The ground floor has an expansive glass wall overlooking Lester Street where its floor space is dedicated to a spacious lobby area and the administration office of myRez on Lester. The remaining space is intended for student related commercial uses.

Parking, Bicycle Storage and Storage Lockers

Ample parking and bicycle storage is available both indoors and outdoors. Simply notify us at the time of filling out your application so that we may make arrangements accordingly.

Storage lockers will also be available at each floor level for those requiring additional space for things such as hockey equipment or other large items. A one-time payment will be required to allocate any of these designated areas.

Move-in Day

We aim to make the student’s stay an enjoyable experience but we also aim to make their move-in day enjoyable for them and their parents. We will organize a schedule of move-in times and dates and you and the student will be notified prior to move-in day of our procedures for this special day in order to make it as smooth as possible for everyone.

As part of making the move-in day an enjoyable experience the student nor the parent will need to go through the hassle of dealing with any utility hook ups, cable or Internet connections. These will all be ready when you move-in as part of our “Utility Package”.
